Spring 2024 Online Classes (via Zoom)
We have various classes Monday through Saturday, which are all casual, fun and progressive. The classes range from New to Continuing Beginner (A1-A2 Level) to Intermediate (B1-B2 Level). We are open to setting up additional classes for groups of 4 or more students and we provide one-one or one-two tutoring. Periodically we host special brunch/lunch and learn sessions for organizations as requested. Books and Learning
We use the book Buntús Cainte I for brand new beginners. With continuing students we use Buntús Cainte I and II and Progress in Irish in our classes. The classes vary from one to the next with regards to how far the students have moved through these books and how many other resources are covered in classes including songs, stories, homework and other lessons. Conversation makes up a larger percentage of each class from Beginners 0 to Intermediate 2 as students ability to speak improves. People are grouped according to ability/years of experience learning as best as possible. Every class has students with varying abilities with regards to learning pronunciation and grammar, understanding and speaking the language.
